ICCC in Denmark and Sweden

The International Conference on Coordination Chemistry has a proud and vibrant history in Scandinavia. Both Denmark and Sweden have welcomed the ICCC community with memorable meetings that combined scientific excellence with the warmth, culture, and beauty of the Nordic summer.

Denmark

Copenhagen (1953) – One of the earliest ICCC gatherings, Copenhagen set the stage for the growth of coordination chemistry in Europe, establishing Denmark as a welcoming home for international science.

Odense (2026) – Now, more than sixty years later, the ICCC returns to Denmark. Odense will carry forward this legacy, offering a dynamic mix of world-class science, culture, and a uniquely Danish atmosphere

Sweden

Stockholm (1962) – A meeting that reflected the growing connections between coordination chemistry and the life sciences, held in one of Sweden’s oldest and most charming university towns.

A Summer to Remember

ICCC 46 in Odense continues this proud Scandinavian tradition, and we warmly encourage delegates to bring their families.
